Indian Society of Evolutionary Biologists​

Thanks to the hard work of Dr. Bodhisatta Nandy and his team together with the co-convenors - Dr. Rittik Deb and Dr Aniruddha Datta Roy, we enjoyed a broad spectrum of informative talks during ISEB6 at IISER Berhampur. We also had four satellite events starting with a symposium at KIIT Bhubaneswar thanks to Dr. Shampa Ghosh , workshop on Phylogenetic thanks to Dr. Aniruddha Datta Roy & Dr. Maitreya Sil and workshop on Nature journaling and Art of Ecology and Evolution by Dr. Arijit Chatterjee.

  Now, it's a pleasure to make an open call for holding the Indian Society of Evolutionary Biologists’ next meeting - ISEB7. While we have a basic format for these meetings the local host and working committee can blend it to represent the local flavours. It would be good to have undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral scholars participating in addition to teachers and established researchers. Typically these meetings have been for three days.

Please write an email to the secretary ( contact@evolutionindia.org ) if you are interested in holding the next meeting, also mention two sets of dates that will work for you. It would be excellent if you can send this letter of interest within March 2026, so that we can take a call soon after that and allow for enough time to start the organization.
